KDE question

How the hell do you turn off the annoying "disolving" tool tip, whenever you hover over an icon for less than a second, it "rolls" out. I tried disabling tooltips from the system settings, but that didn't do it.

Decided to give KDE a go. I wasn't too impressed with it the last time I used it, but that was a while back. Seems to have gotten better since then.

Found it! In the panel configuration, untick "Enable Icon Mouseover Effects".

Much nicer.

Hahaha, yeah neither do I. Honestly, I really only tried it to see if I could run amaroK overnight without it locking up on me, thinking maybe it'd work better running under KDE. That didn't work. So I'm back to Gnome

I love amaroK but it pisses me off cause I can't use it to play music while I go to sleep :-/ I guess I could just switch to xmms overnight, but at that point, why bother having amaroK at all, and just stick with xmms+madman?

Yeah, I tried Rythmbox at first, but it kept locking up while scanning my collection :-/
