Gmail Issues

I have been having some issues with my Gmail. I use it in Outlook (because I need to be able to receive meeting appointments at that address). My Gmail seems to be working fine from www.gmail.com right now, and has always worked fine through Outlook, except since this past Tuesday.

It receives mail just fine, but will not send anything. The messages I try to send just sit in the outbox forever.

Also, every time I send someone an email from www.gmail.com, it apparently does go to the intended recipient, but I also receive it in my inbox in Outlook, with my name as the sender.

Any suggestions??? Thanks in advance!!!

Trevor, you are being "notably unhelpful", OK?

Ttt

Still having issues. I haven't worked on this issue in a while, but it's still going on, and still annoying! Anyone had this problem and/or figured out how to solve it? I would appreciate it!

i'd check the "my server requires authentication", under the servers tab.

Also if you have SBC, you have to use your sbc account settings as for your outgoing mail server, and that username and password sbc gave you.

They do not relay mail on dsl accounts
