Might be selling AIW 9600xt, anyone interested?

Thought I'd post here before ebay, but I'm thinking about switching up to an HDTV tuner card, and won't have much use for the AIW 9600xt. If anyone's interested, I'll take $120 for it.

It works great, can't say much about the latest software however... stick with what's on the disc, or at least don't update to anything newer than the 9.03 version of Multimedia Center... everything since has been nothing but headaches for me. No idea what they did to fuck it up, but 9.06 and 9.06.1 would cause my system to reboot whenever starting a scheduled event, and 9.08 just refuses to start any scheduled events. Tried both upgrading from 9.03 to 9.06/8, and installing 9.08 on a fresh reinstall of windows... didn't make any difference. Tried the same versions with my AIW 7500, on an entirely different machine as well, with the same results, and again 9.03 was the only version that worked. So I'm pretty confident it's the software.

I've only had it about 4 months, so it's relatively new.

PM if interested. I'll probably have it up on ebay in a month or so if it isn't sold before then.

Which HDTV card are you going with? I have one of the Hauppauge low end cards and it's decent, was considering going for the HDTV card but wasn't sure if it was worth the $.

Haven't decided yet. Thinking about the HDTV Wonder, because of the HD antenna that comes with it, but not sure yet.

My only real concern is, since I don't have an HD capable TV yet, I want to make sure it will take in and output standard TV, and when I'm watching on my monitor, I can do HD, until I get around to getting an HDTV (which may be pretty soon, been looking at a few smaller (30" or so) ones).

A guy at work has the HDTV Wonder, and from talking with him, sounds like it's a really good card. The antenna picks up over-air broadcasts in HD, basically the local 4, 5, 8, 11 stations, and the card has component connections for digital cable or satellite, as well as standard rca/svideo/coax connections for standard TV input/output. But I still want to shop around a bit before deciding on one.

I pondered that, but decided the computer forum would be a better place, since I'm not really set on selling it just yet, just thinking about selling it

Judging the level of interest, so to speak.
