Well Ive MESSED It Up Good Now

seems like i somehow fucked up my computer...i can still use it ok but its slower and it will freeze and restart whenever it pleases
some winfixer thing popped up and told me i had 1113 fucked up files and i need to fix it...well i went to try that....they want me to register it for like 39.95....now this is actually a fuck up of the service pack 2....should microcrap pay for this problem....this is really annoying when it just restarts at will
anyone got the registered version or know how to fix this

Go to office max, or some pc place and go buy "Ad-Aware Plus. $29.95 .
I had the same problem last week, and that took all that bullshit away. Now it runs like new again !

before you start buying shit
go to this site and see if you have a spyware problem at all
it runs a scan of your computer and audits it to see if you have a problem

do a google search for housecall.......does a free scan....has worked well for me.....also, counterspy is an awesome program that is free for 30 days.....it seriously has done wonders for me in the past

Rather than downloading shit on the net, or having some online program scan your pc , just go buy ad-aware plus. When you download, or use online software, you can't tell if whether or not it's a clean file or not. Therefore, you're taking a HUGE risk there !! Sometimes you will get a box that pops up saying something like: "Do you really want to save this file?" . When you click "yes" , what you don't know is that lt is an infected file, and since you've allowed it to run on your computer, it will find a file to locate itself within your registry. And sometimes you can't get it out. Next thing you know your pc is fucked up and doing weird things, or showing odd behavior. That whole "shutting down" by itself thing kinda sounds like a worm of some sort. I know last year the "Blaster Worm" did this to alot of people. It actually got me twice until I found a way to beat that sucker. Let me ask you this, right before it shuts down, does a little box pop up and say "Windows is shutting down in 10..9..8..7..6..5..4..3..2..1.." And then turn off?

i got some adware from my buddy and the computer seems to be doing great now....and no it didnt count down or anything...just went off

it does look like you may have the blaster worm. In order to completely remove that on XP
Right click on My Computer go to Properties. There is a System Restore tab Turn off System Restore. This is very important! Reboot. Then right click on My computer again and click on Manage.On the left go to the bottom option of Services look for RPC right click on that go to Properties and there is a recovery tab on the failure options set all three to Restart service so that it will not restart on you. Then get the blaster removal tool here is a link you can find it. But System Restore need to be turned off in order for this to work. Since that dumbass option thinks that the files for the blaster worm are important files and it automatically restores them back after you delete them
