Question xbl communicator headset(s) - plantronics or MS

I'm sure most of you who play xbl have the ms communicator headset, but did anyone actually get the halo2 plantronics one?
Is it really better?

Reason I ask is my sh!tty MS communicator snapped in half on the earpiece for no reason and I need a new one b/c i'm tired of having scotch tape rubbing against my face where I rigged it back together

So, give opinions on if the plantronics communicator is better,

And if anyone has a communicator that they don't use anymore and want to sell it, send PM.

Oh - you're the guy who added to my buddy list. I was trying to figure out where you came from. I'll be on sometime today.

I have a few buddies that have the Halo communicator and they swear by it.

I'm still using my original XBL communicator. Still works and I'm cheap

I got the logitech wireless headset for Christmas and can't even imagine going back to my old one. Not to mention that the MS one was snapped in half by someone and they never replaced it.

I was checking out the logitech units on ebay. They look bulky/heavy to me. Is this true?
