AMD/Microsoft Tech Tour 2005

Anybody else going to this on june 21st at the Galleria? Talked with several people that went to the one in Chicago and lots of freebies and drawings. I preordered the desktop bundle they are offering (Asus A8N-E/AMD 64 3200+ Venice boxed CPU/ Windows XP Pro x64) for $250.

I'm signed up but not sure if work stuff will allow me to be able to attend. I debated that combo but the only break is they give ya xp 64 for free but I already have it from my technet.

You have to sign up for the event and they will send you the link to order. I don't know if the price was that great.

Here is the link. Tech Tour 2005
You have to register and they will send you an email with a link to the bundle purchase page. You have to be present to pick up the bundle because they distribute them during the buffet dinner. I have talked with a few people in Chicago who showed up at the beginning to sign in and then came back later for the drawings and freebies. They were also able to pick up the bundle then. They are also offering a server bundle with dual Opterons and a Tyan motherboard with Windows XP x64 Server for $500.
