My home PC

Still plan on making some additions such as a Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS PCI Sound Card, an additional SATA HDD, and 19" LCD monitor. For now i'm using the onboard audio and my 17" Relisys monitor. Had some problems with the onboard LAN but after installing one of 2 older NIC's, a windows update fixed the issue. Not all that impressive but it's a major upgrade from the PII with 256ram and ancient Elsa Video card I was previously using.

SAPPHIRE RADEON 9600XT 256M DDR AGP 4X/8X Video Card
Intel Pentium 4 3.0E Prescott 800MHz FSB Socket 478 Processor
CORSAIR 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 333 (PC 2700)
Western Digital Raptor WD360GD 36.7GB 10,000 RPM Serial ATA150 Hard Drive
ASUS P4P800SE Socket 478 Intel 865PE ATX Intel Motherboard (onboard gigabyte LAN)
WD 40 GB IDE HDD (to be replaced in the future)
Memorex 48X DVDrom/CDburner (48X24X48X16)

Nice box. When I built mine, I wasnt impressed with the speed changes in windows, but after installing that 74G Raptor, it was a huge increase in preformance.

Really nice box, though I'm not big on the BMW thing

I'm curious, have you done any performance monitoring on the HDD since install? I'd love to know what kind of disk queueing you see (if any) when you are really pushing the box during a game.

I'm going to add some stickers for more power and maybe a wing.
I actually like Silver's case alot better but I didn't see it when shopping around.

Haven't had a chance. Just got back from Cancun today so I may do that this weekend.

I like it. I just want to cut a hole on top of the case so I can add a fan up there to help vent the heat.

I picked up a pair for the box I built over the winter.. Pair of 36's, RAID 0.. I usually go from power on to desktop in less than 20 seconds.. I never have run any benchmarks on them..

Any suggestions on disk benchmark utilities?
