NERO guru's, HELP ME!!!!!!!

I'm trying to burn a dvd captured from a VCR. I have done this before with no problems. But now it freezes during the burn process. I checked the task manager and it says it's working. I went to nero.com and tried to download the updates but this is what I keep getting:

Disable your antivirus/firewall software, then redownload. No I'm not kidding.

«This is a common error message when you have a corrupted download. This can be
caused by Firewall or Anti-Virus protection. Please disabled these first, and
then download and install our latest releases of our software. You may want to
download from another system and then bring over to your system and install.»

10-4, I just read on another forum that there is a bug in the new NERO updates. I guess this is why I'm having problems.

back to the original problem. Burning a DVD from a VCR capture can take ours (at least on my system it does) are you sure it was locking up? or was it just running slow.

No it was locking up. I have already burned several DVD's from the same capture with no problem until now. It's definetely in the program.
