running a program from a cd

Ok I have saved a few programs to a cd to take to my dads and run them cause he has a virus and cannot get online right now..

I have downloaded and made copy of:
hijack this
avg antivirus
spy blaster

I am able to run hjthis. I am able to run avg and start the install but when I enter the license # it gave me when I downloaded and made copy it will not work.

I cant get spy bot or adaware to run from the disck...
Do I need to save the file to a disk a particular way?Like a zip file?
Or is there a install folder from the download i am missing?

Thx for any and all help..

As long as you have them as install files, they should install fine on his computer. If you installed them on your computer, then burned their installation folders to the cd... then that's why they're not working.

And the latest avg free, I just downloaded, didn't get a key, it automatically assigns it while installing. I know the older version, you'd have to get a key through email to install it. You might try downloading the newest version and see if that fixes that problem.
