MP3 Tag editors??

I need to re-organize my Ipod, and was wondering if there any good free programs out there, that allow renaming of multiple tags (IDV3 or something like that).
I was using tag&rename 3.1.7. but my trial period is over.
thanks!

jjmp3renamer is what I use to rename from tag information. I use winamp to edit the tags, though jjmp3renamer will do that, it only does one at a time, where winamp can do multiple.

From the media library, you can select multiple artists, albums, or songs, then right-click > edit selected items

Changes are applied to all items selected, so you don't want to go setting the "Name" field, or you'll have all of them the same name. But it's great for massively editing/adding album names, genre's, comments, artists, etc. Then I just use the standard right-click > view file info on all the selected ones to edit/add track names/numbers. Each time you hit "Update" it updates, and takes you to the next one down the list, ready to edit/add any other info.

The one minor annoyance I have is that "Edit Selected Items" is only available while you're in the Media Library. If you have a group of songs in your playlist that aren't in your media library, you'll have to add them (right click > send to > media library), then switch to your library and edit them from there.

http://www.redchairsoftware.com/anapod/

I was using their Dudebox Explorer for adding songs to my DJ with drag & drop, until Dell finally got around to releasing DJ Explorer. Anapod Explorer is the same software, just for the Ipod.

So much nicer not having to use a media player to add/remove music. Why they didn't just make drag & drop support standard, is beyond me.

I say this EVERYTIME me or one of my friends wants me to add songs to there Ipod.
I am using Dell DJ Explorer for my Dell Mp3 player, so I'm very famaliar with the interface. MUCH easier then iTunes.

I'm guessing everyone knows this and hates iTunes for other reasons, but it is possible to edit multiple tags at once in iTunes.
