576 Days

Is how long my windows xp installation has been going without a reinstallation. Not to shabby, its actually longer than any linux box I currently own.

24 days for me. I get fed up with the crap I have on my computer too often, and usually just format to clean it up.

But that's back when I had storage issues, this latest install is on a 250gig HD...

Mine was done on a 40GB drive. I use my linux file server for all the important stuff. Ironically the storage server has been formatted and reinstalled 3 times ( to test out different flavors ), it was originally created so I could back everything up if/when I had to format the windows box

If my hard drive had not crashed a couple of months ago I would be going on about 26 months since install. My dad on the other hand seems to be reinstalling every other month.

I usually reinstall Winblows once a year, looks like it's getting close to that time again.
