PS2 Question

Is it good to leave your PS2 in standby mode? When you hold the button down and it goes to that versus turning it off in the back? TIA.

Only thing I would be concerned about would be energy spikes and outages. I really only turn mine off when the weather turns bad. There is no suppression hardware out there I know of that can protect against a lightning strike.

I leave mine on 24x7 almost. It will be fine. The new slim ps2 they actually want you to unplug the power completely due to the external power supply, its not mandatory, just recommended.
