no screens but lvl 26 shammy now ...

I was pvpin last nice.. FOR THE HORDE!

To me, clowns aren't funny. In fact, they're kind of scary. I've wondered where this started and I think it goes back to the time I went to the circus, and a clown killed my dad.

I have read it ..I cant freakin wait....

I am so glad I did not get on a pure pvp server.... cause PvP on PvE servers seems more fair

I don't know, I kind of like the PvP. More like real life. Do the PvE servers have contested areas like the PvP where you can attack anybody any time while you're in one? I have a 14 undead warlock on pve and a 23 orc warrior on pvp, but I've been playing the pvp more. Warriors aren't that great for pvp from what I've experienced.

well i got in on a couple raids last night now that is fun as shit.... this screen shot is of part of our raid 40 people total... and there was another group of 40 gathering in another town to meet us at the cross roads

we ran in and kicked some ass.... then we had to regroup at our town and get ready for their asses to to raid us back.... it more for fun rather than actually taking over the town.... but it sure is FUN!!!

I am not sure ..I have yet to look at all the lands...but ...how pvp is workin on pve is server is ...most times... a Raid will come and attack NPC chars ...and of course everyone goes after that raid to protect our cities.......I like it cause u have to turn on your pvp so u can never get ganked

stroked, is that cosmos you are using for your UI? I haven't been able to play for the past 2 weeks and just found out about Cosmos, gypsy, and the other UI stuff, so I haven't actually seen any of it in person.

BTW starting a dwarf or undead priest tomorrow, figured since many people don't play priests it'd be fun.

Statistically, UD Priest is the least played character in the game. I just made one to mess around with last week. Got to lvl 11, hated the talents, havn't played him sense.

I will stick with my lvl 46 Hunter, anyone else have a mount yet?

Yeah it is Cosmos, I couldn't play the game without it, as you can see by how many spells and totems I have to use. If you decide to start an undead priest do it on the Stormreaver server and join my guild (Blade of Fury) we need some good healer type characters in the guild, Kaji is also in the guild. If you need some info on Cosmos let me know and I'll see if I can help.

I don't like the UIs because of the shitty hotkeys. I use a ton of hotkeys for PVP, and I feel I am 10x more efficient on the standard UI.

One trick too many people DON'T know:

I agree, Priest are the least played character but they are the most wanted characters for groups and raids. Priests are badass at higher levels though, they can dish out some good damage and heal very well, they can also group heal. They also have the ability to heal themselves quite quickly without taking any damage by casting their shield on themselves.

In my group I would take a paladin over a priest any day. Priests get killed too fast because they attract so much aggro.

Which UI did you try? I find the hotkey setup in Cosmos to be very good now that they fixed it. I used to use the original UI but found that it was alot slower and if you forget to move back to your main bar for just a split second, especially when PvPing, you are toast.

Ok, first off yes the priest is the least played character (we all understand that)

Second-undead priests are played less than dwarfs and even humans because of the desperate prayer racial spell the alliance gets.

Third, yes many people would rather have a paladin because paladins are the ultimate cheapness (many people don't even want to play paladin because of their lack of skill needed, look on the WoW forums if you don't believe me)

Fourth, for some damn reason I couldn't get my shift+ mouse wheel to do anything (and that is AFTER checking and making sure I had it activated on my buttons menu)

And last, the reason why so few high level priests are around is because people drop before level 20 and go to a different class, many priests start out solely with shadow talents until around 30 and then start to respec into holy or discipline. Priests (from what I've been reading on the WoW forums) are very strong in higher levels taking out mobs one at a time that are upwards of 5-6 levels higher than them.

I don't know, might try a mage.

My warlock is on Burning blade server, and my other friends are on Tichondrius (sp?); stroked, I'll keep stormreaver in mind I might go onto their instead

Also, exlude, the reason why most priests gain so much agro and die is because they don't know how to properly use fade, which reduces agro (the key way to keep mobs off in groups)

Fade is not that good of a spell IMO. The healing spells generate much more aggro than fade can get rid of.

If you have one of the higher ranking Fade, and you cast it, with 1-2 people in your group beating on the same mob, you shouldn't have a problem. If you don't think that Fade is good then you shouldn't play a priest or you have to seriously consider revising your gameplan

Well, in that one case, yes...it works nice. But we all know that you are not always fighting one mob. Especially in party/instance situations.

Now you take these healing spells that, when cast, aggro all mobs. You have several of them turn on you, and those 1-2 people beating on that one mob, might pull him off you. But what about the other 2, 3, or 4.

I'm not saying priests shouldn't use fade, I'm saying it doesn't work well enough to make the priest a very valuable party member.

To be honest I'm not even a priest yet, but I've been talking to people (let the flaming comence ) on the WoW priest forum for about 2 weeks trying to get everything down on how to solo and still be efficient in a group. Priests all over the board basically say either use Fade or the Holy nova (damage and takes down agro a little), when in a group with our shield or you're going to be toast either way. If you're in a group that doesn't know how to pull mobs (3, 4, or more) off of their priest then you're in the wrong group anyway.

BTW, why did you pick a Hunter?

This is the first one I've played and it plain out rocks the house! I can start doing stuff and I think it's been 30 mins or something....... nope, it's been 2 hours. I'm totally addicted. 25 undead rogue at the moment.

BLADE OF FURY for life!

It's around 13-15 a month depending on how long you sign up for. I think you get a month free.

$40-50 for the game (comes with a free month). Then as Kaji said, $13-15 /month depending on how long you sign up, longer you sign up at one time, less you pay per month.

This is also the first MMORPG that I've gotten to play and i have to say it is worth every cent. Now I know why people called Everquest, EverCrack...This shit is addicting

This is my 3rd true mmorpg and I got say it is by far the funnest one I have played. Hell, I play this game every free moment I get, I play at work, as soon as I get home, and then after the wife goes to bed I am usually on for a few more hours. I started with UO (Ultima Online), then played some Diablo and Diablo 2 which I dont consider real mmorpg's, then I played Anarchy Online and now WoW which in my opinion is the best one yet! If you do decide to play do yourself a favor and play on a PvP server, the game is much more fun when you have to worry about getting ganked by the other side and getting to gank back. Plus once you are done leveling on a PvE server there just isn't anything left to do and once again in my opinion most mmorpg's dont really get fun until after you have done leveling.

If you're in a group that doesn't know how to pull mobs (3, 4, or more) off of their priest then you're in the wrong group anyway.

BTW, why did you pick a Hunter?
I normally party with another 45 hunter and a 48 warrior. We have invited priests with us before, they would be good at fade, but the pure need to keep them safe makes them not worth it. I rather have a druid or a paladin ANY day of the week in my party. Atleast they can take care of themselves.

Btw, Holy nova works fairly well...but it's the very top of the talent chain. If you were to tech to holy nova, you would most likely do very LITTLE damage.

Not to mention how poor they are in pvp.

I picked hunter just on a basis of versatility. I can do more damage than warriors and paladins (and can do it at range), while being able to take more hits then casters.

Well, level 8 dwarf priest now. Exlude, I'm sure that paladins are fine to group with, I just wouldn't want to play one. When Blizzard gets around to it, if ever, they will nerf the paladin somehow and paladins wont be that useful.

I don't think it would really matter if the toolbars are in the screenshot or not

Who said I wanted to get rid of my toolbars for the screenshots? I actually already knew that, but I left them to show the UI and the combat log of me PKing.

PvE = Player vs. Environment (cannot fight against other players only NPCs)

PvP = Player vs. Player (as well as environment)

NPC = Non Player Characters

druid can sooo overpower a priest its not even funny... i party with a priest that is in my lvl range mid 30's and with my talent tree i regen mana faster, heal for more points (slower but more) and can take it when i pull agro with my def over 1300ish....

the best part is i just learned omen of clarity (chance of free cast) great way to get tranquility off at the last minute.. and i'm about to start lvlin the tree area to lower the hate pulled by my spells... I am basicly a balance/healing druid and it just keeps getting better and better.
