Opinions on new system components

I am thinking of buying a new computer, and would like to get one built. This is what I am looking for it to do.

I would like to be able to:
Burn DVD's/CD's directly from 1 DVD to another DVD
Watch TV (can you run satellite through one?)
Do home office tasks(Data Base/Word/Excel/Power Point)
Create and Edit photo's

Any input would be appreciated.

I just need some help in picking the components. It will probably be around tax time, so I am just getting a head start in looking.

you really cant just buy a bunch of stuff and hope it all works

if you are thinking "top of the line"
be ready for a 6-8000.00 bill....

stay with what you NEED not what you want
get a good board ....800fsb chipset
and at least 1gig of mem
and your tv card
a burner...
and try to get a80-160mb 10000 rpm raptor drive ...or a seagate ....they are the best
you dont need a 15k ...

one more thing .......

Definately go with a P4 800fsb. I run an AMD64 and it is superb for gaming but the P4's are still better for multimedia especially when it comes to burning audio and video files. The 10,000 rpm drive will also make a great performance difference but watch out for heat. Make sure you have a really good cooling setup.
