Half Life 2 Question

Hey all, Ive been thinking about getting HL2 and i noticed that there is a newer
Version of Counter strike out. Is that included as a Mod for HL2?? If so how does the newer counter strike look and play??

BTW my computer is listed below. How would it run HL2

2.4 Ghz version 2
1 gig DDR ram
Nvidia geforce 4 128meg vid card.

if your talking about counter strike source it "looks" way better then CS1.6, but of a few actually alot hate the hitboxes..
graphically its amazing, and so are the physics.
If you buy it, all you have to do is let steam update the game.

you should be able to play the game.
