Errr, I doubt it's the video card. They don't generally just start making things fuzzy all of the sudden. It might be your monitor.

Hmmm good question. . LOL. . I think its a '98 Compaq Presario, im not at home, so i can't look for sure. .

But If you are looking at the desktop, the icons are all big and you can tell it looks different. . and when you go to change the colors on the computer. . its stuck on the 16-bit, it won't let you select anything else. . and just the pics itself is blurry, like fuzzy looking.

Here is a link to what everyone else said:

but if i need a new video card driver. . where do i get one. . and is there a certain type?

Based off what you just said there, you probably do just need drivers.

You should just have to go to compaq's site and get the drivers via their support pages. Install them and that is it.

Take care

This is something I had to deal with a lot while doing tech support. Why is it people think when the drivers drop and the image is stuck in 16 color mode... that the image is "fuzzy" or "blurry"?

Why not say something like... "the colors look all fucked up" ... or "all the text and icon's got bigger, and the colors look all washed out"? That would certainly describe 16 color mode much better than "fuzzy" or "blurry", because fuzzy and blurry are indicative of problems with the monitor ... and as such, a tech helping you with the problem will immediately point to the monitor (as the first person to reply had also done).
