Data recovery

Anyone have any experience with Data Recovery? Looking for a local Dallas Company to recover a drive. It's possibly just the interface card on the drive, as it isn't making any weird sounds. Just isn't detected by BIOS anymore.

I'd try another cable. What kind of drive is it, maybe someone has a spare controller board lying around. Data Recovery is expensive.

yes any data recovery systems using physical techniques gets very expensive. It will come down to the value of the data on the drive. If it is that critical maybe now is a good time to look at backup options.

Tell me about it ... Data recovery is expensive ...

Our computer crashed at work last year about this time and we had to send it to ohio or something to get it fixed and then when they recovered it at a emergency expense they let us have with a bill of $ 8,000 big ones ...

We had vaseline up our [email protected]@ that week .......

The service was great it took about 2-3 days tops and we were up a running again ....

The costs for protecting that data with a decent tape drive, tapes, and the software would have been cheaper.
