Need help making a copy...

I have the latest nero. I need to make some back-up copies of some games/software I have. Not sure whats the best way to make a copy....using the burn image to hd then to cd or other option copy cd. Any help....thanks!!

I would say if you have the HD space create an .iso: if you don't have software for it you can get it free from http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm otherwise just do a direct copy of the cd.

Is there a diff in the 2 or just iso is for people who only have one drive and the hd space

an iso is just the image of the cd itself, so it will actually be abit smaller in size than the data on the cd and will be stored on the HD. this will be a single file and is generally easier for managing, but it is not usable until you restore the image onto a blank cd. doing a direct copy will just copy the cd and will be directly usable.

Most games now have copy protection. www.gamecopyworld.com has info on them. Alcohol 120% is a good software to use to make images from protected CD's.
