Yeah I specifically have to have Outlook because of the Appointment feature. That's how my boss sends them to me.

You guys sure there's no way to "get around" this??

Incase nobody knew, Gmail now will allow pop access through Outlook. Check under Settings/Forwarding and POP within Gmail.

Mine's been working fine since I set it up a few days ago.

Pop.gmail.com
Smtp.gmail.com

Just make sure you have the "POP forwarding mark checked in the gmail webmail settings.

Thumbs up

Thanks guys! I've actually heard of this and been keeping tabs on it. As of a couple of days ago, my gmail account still doesn't have the "forwarding and POP" tab though.

I've got it set up in Thunderbird, and it's working great. I like that if I send an email from Thunderbird, through my Gmail account, that it actually puts the Sent message into my Sent Mail "box" within Gmail as well (Hotmail through OE never did that)

You may have to log in to see these, not sure how Gmail's support / help desk is set up:

Outlook Express and Outlook 2002 (and older)
Outlook 2003

And here's the list for all the POP mail clients that they have directions for setting up.
