How do I find a large file that I downloaded?

I'm running XP. I downloaded something today over 1gb in size, but I forgot where I saved it to. I'd appreciate any help!

Look for the files inside the computer. Inside the computer? Start hitting it and eventually throw in on the floor to look inside it.

'Start->Search->Files and folders'

On search options check 'Size', select 'at least' which should be the default and set the size to 500000 KB. Don't give any other parameters and hit 'Search Now'. If you have the file you should be able to find it. Also on advanced options, make sure you have 'Search subfolders' checked.

Well, I finally found the file by using the search by size, but when I went to actually use it, it was corrupt. Go figure. All that wasted time.
