anyone running dual boot systems

i have xp pro but i have a spare hd i am thinking about installing linux on, also whats the best way to install linux on the website it say to download it and burn it as an iso on cd's is that they way???? a little help would be much appreciated

The best way is to get a copy of VM Ware and run it on a separate virtual machine. With VM you can run a bunch of different OS'es at the same time rather than booting between two.

I dual boot my company laptop. I loaded xp first and left space open then installed linux afterwards and use the linux boot manager to control which OS I boot.

i also have have xp and linux on my laptop. i installed linux first then i left some space for mandrake 10

If you choose Fedora Core 2 watch out.

the same goes for mandrake10 as well i beleive, I run win2k and mandrake 10 on my laptop... installed windows first.. then installed mandrake. works great.
