Network Cable Question - Patch or Straight Thru Cable

Guess I worded that right. KJ94GT got me the length of CAT5 I needed and is going to help me do the ends I need so I can wire up the other side of my house and stretch out my Wi-Fi connection. Only thing is we don't know how to do the ends. I've got some wall jacks that I'm using that I bought at Lowes that are like this.

Any ideas on how the cable should be? I'm clueless.

if your runs are for nic to hub or switch then straight thru. If you are going hub/switch to hub/switch that do not have an MDX/uplink port then it will need to be crossover.

Did the jack plate not come with instructions for wiring up the backside of it?

if you are doing two jacks from one side to the other... on the back of the connector that goes in the plate... there will be a color scheme of A or B just make sure you use the same on both sides..... the colors should match the cable as well....
