I think the power blew my monitor out..

It hasn't been working since Saturday when the power went out for about 1 second. We have a surge protector and it was off.

Anyway... can someone fix this? If so, how much? It's a 17" HP monitor and it's only like 1 1/2 years old.

Its probably cheaper to just buy a new monitor, monitor repair isnt worth it unless you have an expensive 20" + monitor.

I 2nd AbecX on this one.

17" Monitors are very cheap now and the costs involved to repair could exceed the cost of a replacement. Pretty much the same thing with inkjet printers. Heck sometimes to replace the ink carts might run almost as much as a new printer.

Just a good excuse to upgrade or get yourself a flat panel.

Good deal. I picked up a new 19 flat screen NEC for 160 after rebates back in January

Yep, it's ACRS. You have to go to First Saturday if you want the $125 price. http://www.firstsaturday.com/
