Far Cry (PC Game)

Anyone played or purchased Far Cry? I'll be buying it for my brother (birthday) this week and was wondering what everyone thought of the game.

I've played a demo of it that came with PC Gamer magazine, and it's pretty great (awesome graphics engine).

Here's an in game screenshot.

that game is singlehandely making me buy a new computer.
my p3 800 and crappy video card can't even allow me to go 1/2 way on the graphics. seen it on 256 raedon card and it was awesome.

That game is awesome, been watching a friend play and finish that thing this past week. Tried to play it myself, but you need a great video card to see the true quality.

As far as graphics goes Far Cry is much better... best out there right now IMO. As far as game play, i'd say they're equal, BF Vietnam Multiplayer ownz though.

I wonder if my Ti 4600 would be enough.
