Question Dell 8600

Just Bought a Dell 8600, does anyone own one and if so, do you like it?

Mine's not to Shabby. Not real sure if I am going to keep the AOL or not though

Sounds like a good laptop. Ditch the AOL though.

I have one and LOVE IT. I upgraded to the 128mb vid card tho with the WUXGA screen. It's heavier then the smaller Dells. BUT the 15.4" screen ROCKS. Compared to other notebooks of it's size, it's still very portable. I take my 8600 to the office everyday.

The hardest thing is finding a case that will fit it. I bought a Samsonite case from Office Max. I also bought a "glove" case for it. It's a neoprene case that was meant for the Mac notebooks.

sounds like I made a good choice.

Yeah. You really can't go wrong with Dell laptops, if work didn't provide one for me, Dell would be the only laptop mfg. I would consider.
