I get a error message saying Floppy Disk(s) Fail (40), do any of you know what this means or how to fix it?

Thanks

The drive might be bad. One of the teachers at my school, she uses the disk to store her gradebook, and used one of the teachers pub pc's and it fucked her disk, so she called a Data Restore Speicalist, and paid 55$ to recover the disk.

I think what he meant was that she sent the floppy disk with the data she needed to a recovery company so that they could restore the files since the floppy disk went bad. I doubt she paid $55 for a floppy disk DRIVE.
