Can someone recomend me a mb and processor

I've been searching the net for the past two weeks trying to find which motherboards are good for what im looking for and havent found anything. I'm looking to build my own computer and it will mostly before gaming, music. Also movies and dvd stuff. Im not too worried about price either. Anyone have any suggestions on motherboards and processor for what i am looking for?

if your not worried about money then go with an Abit IC7 Max3 board with a P4 2.8+ 800mhz fsb cpu. you'll be looking at around $450+ though. if not then go to for different prices on other boards.

Check out , and for some good deals.

Also, hit up and for hardware reviews.

Asus is the best, hands down! No cheap shit there! Dependable is an understatement however the only thing I don't like about there boards is the intergrated NIC's, if you happen to get one with a built on NIC disable it and use a PCI NIC.

AMD processors of course!
