Does anyone know where we can buy lots of older pc's?

We want to get some 400mhz+ machines for cheap ( $50 per box ), same cases, and are linux compatiable ( most pc's are but some compaq's have issues ). Let me know if you know someone/somewhere.

yeah thats a good sized lot. I've got a collection of 350mhz pcs here at the house. The intel p2 350 the kids use and then I have 2 amd 350s in the closet for who knows what. My boss didnt want to mess with trying to sell or give them away to employees so he told me to make em disappear. So I ended up with 2 466mhz celerons, the intel 350, and 2 amd 350s.

One 466 is at the office and a linux playtoy. The other 466 is my home linux based intrusion detection system.

Yo Cruz,
let me check and see if we still have them left over. We had several hundred 400 MHz systems, 64 megs Ram, 4 gig hard drives. I know that a wholesaler just came out and bought about 400 of our old 15 and 17 inch monitors, I'm hoping he didn't get all the pc's too. May be able to find out tonight still... gotta call into someone to get an answer.

Nope, we offically got purchased today by Deutsche Bank and Essar I think. They are both huge companies and worth about 84 billion combined! No major changes or layoffs either, good news for lots of us! Here's our press release.

The pc's are from several centers we closed earlier this year, Atlanta and Arlington. I think we had about 800 at one point.

We are still in a hiring freeze or I'd have already called your butt back in!

OK, here's the PC scoop... The 400 MHz have all been removed, but we supposedly have 60 to 100 - 233 and 300 MHz systems in a room at the office, no memory and small hard drives (1 gig to 4 gig) Anybody wants them, they are free, as long as they haul them off. I can always throw a bunch in the truck if you want them Cruz.
