Looks like 2/3's of all servers run apache, I thought IIS was 'elite' ?

Saw an article yesterday saying that the number of IIS sites had gone down due to companies going out of business or switching back to a *nix/apache server.

IMHO, MS Sales staff can talk the talk, but their products cant walk the walk. Unix is just so proven of a OS, that MS tried to takeover its share of market ( sales tactics: Unix is old technology, NT is new.... NT, its what IT knows... lots of others ), they succeded for a while, but never really even had half the market share. Maybe one day when their record shows proven realibilty, they will rise back up.

Forget the MCSE exam. Never taken it and been a network admin for 6 years.

Those test guides have no use for day to day support and install.

I did take the CISSP this summer and missed it by 3-4 questions but still not too bad for no formal training or books.

Might be awhile. Security problems are starting to eat their lunch.
