NVidia GeForce TI4400

one of my co-workers asked me about a situation he is having with it. the problem, as he described it, is that his monitor is not bright enough. i told him to adjust the brightness and contrast on the MONITOR. he said he has done that, and he then has to go to the VIDEO card to adjust them. i have never heard of adjusting brightness on the video card. he says he adjusts it, hits APPLY/OK and everything is fine. however, when he restarts the computer, the settings go back to how they were before. any ideas on how to solve this?

Look in CP for Adobe Gamma, Change that, that used to be my problem for brightness shit. I changed that and it kept the settings.

fixed the problem. if anyone cares or has a similar problem, reinstall the drivers using the 44.03 driver instead of the 45.23

That's odd!

I use 45.23 and have had NO problems!
