Lightbulb Computer HELP!!!!!

Occasionally I get this notice from my McAffee virus protection that a certain file on my comp is a virus or something. It says JS/noclose. When I go into internet explorer, my homepage is changed to www. passthison....... etc. Two or three pop ups come up as well and the only way to get them off is if I shut down internet explorer from the task manager.

I tried to delete the 'bad' file but the virus protection said that it could not be deleted possibly due to security settings or someshit....

Anyone had this before? If so, how the hell do I get rid of it. This is the second time it has happened this week. The first time I just change the homepage in internet options but it came back again.

Adaware will help remove a lot of spyware from your computer, which could be causing all the popups and your homepage changing. Do a search on for Adaware, go to their homepage, and download the free version.

js.noclose is a javascript, that hides an IE window that is not in the task bar or visible on your monitor...

i would install adaware.. disconnect from the internet.. reboot.. run adaware.. and run mcafee again.. to try and delete the file.

Your browser has probably been highjacked as well. This will clean it up.

What you have is a trojan. Trojans are programs which are sent either by email, instant-messengers or filesharing. Once a trojan is installed it will usually run every time you boot up your computer. A trojan will open a port on your system which can be used by a hacker to connect remotely to your computer.

Here is some info from Mcafee along with some removal instructions.
