So my speakers finally came in today. Got 5.1 surround in my room now. That kicks ass.
Also found a Plextor external dvd+r/rw usb2/1394 for $270 through Dell. With my preferred credit account ... that's a whopping $9 a month minimum! Whoo!
Went in with a friend, we're both getting a dvd+r/rw, and he's also getting a 2100mp projector, which also happened to be $200 off from the last time he checked the price.
Aye. It's been a good day. And I got a note on my windshield "Park across the street, and not in front of our mailbox". So I flipped it over and replied "Sorry about the mailbox. However, this is a public street, and I'll park wherever I want." Stuck it in their mailbox.
That made me happy. Just thought I'd share.

It could be read that the mailman could pass by and not deliver the mail if your car was in front of it and that's why they left the note.
Customers must keep the approach to their mailboxes clear of obstructions to allow safe access for delivery. If USPS employees are impeded in reaching a mail receptacle, the postmaster may withdraw delivery service.
Subject to state laws and regulations, a curbside mailbox must be placed to allow safe and convenient delivery by carriers without leaving their vehicles. The box must be on the right-hand side of the road in the direction of travel of the carriers on any new rural route or highway contract route, in all cases where traffic conditions are dangerous for the carriers to drive to the left to reach the box, or where their doing so would violate traffic laws and regulations.
