Have it here at home to laptop, I bet I don't get on my desktop once a week now. There nice can surf from where ever in the house, yard over at the neighbors. Put the base unit up as high As you can for best range. DAVID

It is time we acknowledged a basic feature of human discourse: when considering the truth of a proposition, one is either engaged in an honest appraisal of the evidence and logical arguments, or one is not. Religion is the one area of our lives where people imagine that some other standard of intellectual integrity applies.

just moved in with two techies...

DSL (not standard... can't remember the type) to a 16 port hub connected to 6 rack mounted servers running win2k3 server edition. All other pc's in the house (3 laptops and two desktops) use D-link router and D-link cards at 22mbs.

so far I love it. Not as fast as my 10/100 connection but for no wires... I love it. I usually can download at about 80-90% as per what I used to.

802.11g here.

Desktops/Servers in the computer room are wired, wireless bridge to that network.

Laptop, DirecTivo, Xbox, and misc PCs around the house are wireless.

Every room has two LAN connections but I do have a Linksys 802.11g Access point for my laptop. I can't wait for the temp to go down so I can chill out on the back porch and surf or work from the good ol' outdoors!

Gotta love the new Win 2k3 server! It's da bomb! But then so is my RH 9.0 box..........
