make a form out of a PDF file?

I need to know if there is a way to make a form out of an exsisting PDF file.

I need basicaly to be able to do a "mail merge" with one so I can print out about 20 with 20 diffrent addresses?

Am I stuck handwriting all of these... or is their a program that anyone knows of??

you cant do that as far as I know. Easiest thing might be to do is recreate the form in word and do a mail merge there.

You can OCR the pdf file into Word, then manage it as you like. Or find a hack on the net to break the PDF security.

Will Adobe Acrobat (not the reader) not edit that file or does it have security on there to prevent that?

I did not have it installed, im sure it will edit it just fine. I just wanted to make a mail merge out of all the legal forms we use at work... I9, W4, W9, TWCC etc...

It only has security to allow editing / copying / and in some cases, opening at all.

An OCR package will simply read the data from the file and create a Word File or whatever you told it to OCR into. Then you can work with the data in the new document. You could possibly screen shot the open doc too into a tiff format to OCR also if you just wanted.

We use eCopy at work, and it OCRs from PDF files (it uses Omni 8 as its underlying scan software).
