Did you see the previews?

About that new movie coming out about Jim Carey being God for a day. I dont remember the name of it, but it looked kinda funny. I saw the previews for it in Lord of the Rings 2. What do ya'll think about it?

I saw LOTR but, I didn't see that preview. That new movie with Vin Diesel looks good.

Didn't you like The Majestic? I thought it was a pretty good flick.

Yeah, it was good, and I also liked The Truman Show, but they weren't Jim Carey movies. Not to say he didn't do a good job, and isn't a good actor, he's just best at doing comedies.

well, it might be. I would like to see it or know more about it before I make a judgement. I think so far that it is just surpose to be a comedy and not mean any bad against God.
But I dunno

Not really, I see movies like "Dogma" to be more blasphemous then this one.

Well, Dogma was poking fun at the Catholic Church, not at Christianity. The movie basically added a comedic twist to biblical subjects. Definitely one of my favorite Kevin Smith movies.

LOTR is too long, I'll have to wait till that comes out on video, but what new movie w/ Vin are you talking about?
