Non-denominational Church?

Does anyone know of a non-denomination church in or around the Azle area?

I've been to Gateway in Southlake a few times and love it, but the drive is so far. I've also been to Grace Fellowship up in Paradise/Bridgeport a couple of times, but that's also a pretty good drive. Just looking for one closer. Thanks in advance!

Can someone please explain this non-denominational church to me? They are a denomination within themselves. Bible churches, non-den. whatever you want to call them. A denomination has similar perspectives on what the bible means and how it should be worshipped etc.

A bible church claims to take everything straight from the bible. But so do Baptist, Lutherans, methodists, etc. Every church has its own perspective on the bible so labeling a church as non-den is the same thing as labeling a church baptist.

You're lucky I didn't call at 5...when I got up. I was seriously thinking about it too. haha

I don't party on sundays. And I only got about 2.5 hours of sleep sat night so I went to bed at 10ish sunday night.

There is a certain stigma that comes with some of them. It has more to do with the way the church is run then what they are teaching/preaching. I know lots that always avoid 1st baptist churches even though they agree theologically with their message.

Honestly, I'm not even sure of that myself. I'm fairly uneducated when it comes to religion & the bible. I wasn't raised with any religion, technically I'm Protestant, but we never practiced anything. I was introduced to Gateway & Grace Fellowship by friends of mine. I was always told that a non-denom church would probably be best for me, given my background.
