In what church did you receive baptism?

I'm talking full immersion, not the sprinkly, sprinkly.
Oh, and as an adult who made the choice, not the diapered kind.

I was a diapered Lutheran, but made a public profession in 8th grade @ Messiah Lutheran Church in Highland, CA. Although, I'm not really sure I was honest about it. I have made a public profession on this board several times that were whole-hearted. If my vacation works out the way I'm planning, I'll be getting baptized in the Jordan River in February.

I can understand if you are confused about religion as that's where most go wrong. Religion gets more people in trouble than it does good. The point I'm trying to make is that it's about YOUR relationship with God, NOT religion.

Sprinkle sprinkle Catholic when I was an infant.
At age 27 I was baptized at Genesis Metro (I guess we are considered non-denominational with some baptist roots)

Sprinkled as a baby in the Catholic church, and was baptized last summer in a pool. Our church has baptist roots.

I did the full immersion thing as an adult in the mormon church, but only because my ex made me. Went for a year or so.

I'm agnostic.

I also was baptized as an infant in lutheran church ( Miss. Synod) and finished confirmation in the 8th grade.

my mom went from catholic to mormon. the brothers and sisters would come to her house to eat meals she would make for them. i told her she shouldnt do that because theyre asking for a handout. she stopped doing it when they would call weekly asking if she was going to cook for them. im still catholic but my son goes to bible class at her church. i told her i dont mind as long as they dont try to baptize him or anything. my son believes in god, jesus, heaven, and hell. i on the other hand have gone through the unimaginable when i was younger, it left me doubting throughout my teen years up until now.

Attempts were made to raise me Baptist, but I couldn't tell you what being Baptist means. I infer the Baptist faith is generally Calvinist or Puritanical. I have no belief as such now, just a few ideas.

Give me a dollar.
