American, God, and War

I've posted this over here because this is not specific to Gov. Palin.
I'd like your opinions on how you feel preachers and politician should address these Middle East wars.

Should the preachers leave out motive and objectives of these wars when talking from the pulpit? Should politician keep the names of God and Jesus out of their speeches when talking about justifications for the wars?

I seems to me they both consistently get into trouble whenever they speak loosely on these topics.

What's your opinion on how Gov. Palin did in this interview?

I think she initially justified the war as God's work in the church setting, but cleaned it up for mass consumption in the interview. I think her "cleaning" it up was the correct thing to do for the interview. People tend to talk a lot more frank and free in church settings (no professional speech writers and coaches). People in church tend to get the jest-of-it just fine, without scrutinizing every word like you get in a political setting.

People respond better to acts than quotes. Some things should not be brought up because someone will take it wrong.

I think that people should speak less and set an example more.

That being said, I also think she is the real deal.

That is my opinion....

Who would you rather buy a used car from:
1. Palin
2. Obama
That will tell you loads about character and credibility.

On the notion that you are being serious...that is a complete no brainer!

I wouldn't trust Obama with anything....I can sense something about him. Just makes me uneasy.

This is a great book that's somewhat related to this subject. Pick it up and give it a read if you have a chance.

Over five thousand years ago, Moses said to the children of Israel, "Pick up your shovel, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised Land." Nearly 75 years ago, Roosevelt said,"Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a camel, this is the Promised Land." Now Obama has stolen your shovel..., taxed your asses, raised the price of camels and mortgaged the Promised Land!
