And eff every person on this board who has Damned the Catholic Church for putting nothing but Pedophiles in charge.

Everyone of your so called "men of God" are just as susceptable.

And start questioning your Effeminate Youth Ministers, Baptists. Unless you're afraid of what you'll find.

I think it has more to do with the individual than the religion. Pretty sure neither Catholics nor Baptists have the market cornered.

the only difference between catholic and baptist churches is the sign out front

[edit] except Church of Kurt Cobain and The Church Of The Holy Fonz

[re-edit] turns out Westboro baptist church does teach from the bible... ouch

True, saying that nothing but pedophiles are charge of the Catholic Church is just as myopic as saying that nothing but drunken murderers are in charge of the U.S. Senate.

No offense intended to the esteemed Senator from Massachussetts, and no offense intended to the leadership of the Catholic Church by casting them in a comparison to certain members of the U.S. Senate.

It really makes no difference though, if you were to enter either one, chances are you'd come out brainwashed.

If they are are so different, which one is right?

What did you enter that resulted in you coming out ignorant? Or, perhaps you're a natural-born idiot, and if so congratulations on perpetuating your natural-born gift into adolescence.

If they are so different, which one is right, you ask? The answer is simple, the Bible is right. Too bad you cannot see outside of your own stunted mind, but that's part of being the child you are.

I don't understand the question about "satanic church". You said the two religions are the same. The Catholic bible has 6 extra books in it. There many differences. Elaborate on your "satanic church" question.

Problem here is you never answered the first question. No surprise there tough. Name calling as you put involves using nouns with respect to the person to which the name is directed. Idiot and child are much less harsh nouns than the "F'" and "B" words adolescents like yourself gravitate toward, to make up for lack of substance and to puff yourselfs up, albeit foolishly in more mature eyes.

Thank you for agreeing with me, and continuing to show no knowledge of theology.

Forgive me. I didn't realize you were actually asking that idiotic question. I thought maybe it was rhetorical. I was raised protestant.

Name calling is immature, and in this case ironic, regardless of the words being used.

Difference: The Crucifix.

Apparently, actually seeing a half naked man suffering for your sins is offensive to everyone except Catholics.

I never realized this until I was at a Military Base and went to a christian (non-denominational) service. Behind the alter on the wall was a Regular plain cross. Thought nothing about it until I noticed as we left they were preparing for the Catholic Mass in the same church (common military practice). A guy went up to the Cross and spun it around like Vanna White to a Crucifix.

That's a very good point. Catholicism takes the crucifix in a little different way. They want it to be graphic and show the suffering and pain involved. Just watch Mel Gibson's version in the "Passion..". Very graphic. Catholics also pray to Mary ("Hail Mary"), which is a protestant no-no.

Jesus suffering and pain was indeed an unpleasant subject, but was nonetheless something that had to happen for mankind to be reconciled to God. I for one support the Catholic Church policy of displaying the crucifix for what it was, along with any other Christian denomination that chooses to do so.

Whatever. I answered your question, directly. You have an opinion of me, we all get it. Your opinion is that I'm ignorant because I don't go to church? I know there are a lot of people that would consider you ignorant because you do.

No, if you are ignorant it is simply because that's the way you are, whether or not you go or went to any church. You have not directly answered my question directly in any shape or form, and are skipping around it, so here it is again in condensed form: is your present-day ignorance a result of some "brainwashing" (to use your own term) that occurred in your life, or were born with it?

Does your mom know you're gay?

hint: if you answer 'yes', then you are gay.
if you answer 'no', then I would say something to the effect of "Yeah, I wouldn't tell my mom if I was gay either."

As expected, no answer given, just some ludicrous attempt at sidestepping the question.

I can't fault you too much for not answering though. There must be some degree of shame factor in being ignorant that you can not overcome.

The point is that it doesn't matter WHAT you are, everyone is prone to sin, regardless of the way it is presented. This man is just a man, just as any priest is just a man.

Doubt I knew what? That my ol' buddy Anton wrote the satanic bible? The question wasn't directed at you, (although I could ask you the same question if you believe I have to step foot in a catholic or baptist church to disagree with what they teach.)

Yes, my point is, it doesn't matter what church you go to (my sign reference)... which makes me wonder why you all seem to agree with me, but yet I'm ignorant and adolescent.

Man, I'm gonna get you good. I can't wait to see your response.
1) Thank God I'm not gay, so my church truly knows me for the Christian man I am.
2) Trying to pose a ludicrous, grade-school question in response to my legitimate, on-the-mark question, which obviously upset you, is pathetic but not unexpected.
3) Doing as you're told is something you do, apparently at my bidding. I do not reciprocate.

Good luck on "getting me good" LOL. Given your limp responses thus far I needn't worry very much. Congratulations also on getting the heat of this thread off the Catholic Church. You've done well by shouldering that burden, unwittingly, all by yourself.

You are dancing around the question. It's 'yes' or 'no' if that helps. Please answer the question. (see how stupid that is?)

I was looking for #3. Thanks for not disappointing. Although #2 was also expected, and exactly the point I was making.

You have failed to grasp the meaning of #3. Here it is in simpler terms, or at least for most of us it might be considered simpler terms LOL. Is doing my bidding, when you're told to do so, serving you well?

Back to your statement quoted above. By stating the catholic church still rapes little boys, one may presume you have first-hand knowledge that this is the case. Though you say you have nothing to do with that, but still know it to be true, were you perhaps on the receiving end of such a travesty?

I am not catholic.

Dude. Read. I knew you'd respond with something similar to what you did. (#3) You've been doing it since you've been registered here, it's no big surprise. If you ask a question, and someone answers it, they are your puppet. If they don't answer it, they are avoiding the question. If the roles are reversed the rules don't apply to you. It's old, it's silly, it's immature, and above all predictable.

I have seen the news, we all know what happens to little boys in the catholic church (not all little boys, and not all catholic churches of course), it's no secret.

So because I know of something, I am associated with it first hand? Do you have any clue how stupid that sounds? Try reading it out loud to yourself, it may help.

Wasn't that the point you were trying to make with the whole satanic church thing?? That someone can't REALLY know unless they have experience with it?

True, any rules you may think should apply to me, don't. Just accept that and move on.

You have shown good progress by backtracking off your blanket statement regarding the catholic church. Keep up the good work.

No, that was Vertnuts point. I was pointing out that I don't have to be a member of something or attend a church to know I don't want anything to do with it.
