Lightbulb Have you perceived anything Supernatural?

This is different from "religious experience" because "supernatural" defies nature and sometimes religious experiences are natural. A supernatural occurrence might be seeing something or someone that is "not there". That is what happened to me. I saw someone who had died. They came to tell me "good-bye" then, they were gone.

Now, I have heard of people saying they had a dream on the night a parent or loved one died, and in that dream the loved one came and said goodbye. I can understand that happening in a dream. I don't see anything unGodly about that, I suppose.

But when it comes to the world of the supernatural, there are only certain beings out there in the spiritual world. God's angels and Satan and his demons. That's about it. Evil spirits or good spirits. God tells us not to ever communicate with the dead in the Old Testament. That means that demons are the ones trying to get us to believe a dead loved one just came and spoke with us. That's a deception, though...a distraction from God, and a disobedient act. If I were to see a dead loved one, I would cast them out in Jesus' name, because it must be a demon. And if they obey the command, you know they're a demon, because demons must obey a command given in Jesus' name.

That's my 2 cents, anyway... don't claim to always be correct, but I'm pretty certain on this. Just like legitimate psychics are getting their info from demons, because they have opened themselves up to hearing demons. Yet God says He's the only one that knows the future and to stone prophets that don't get their prophecies 100% correct.

Exactly my thoughts, which in hind sight is frightening the close contact I had with so many demons.....

Here is a story, and I think I told it before, but here it is for the new guys

As stated in another post, I was involved in the occult for some time, which started when I first got into martial arts (which btw, CAN be done without that crap)....

I used to be very proficient in using the Ouija board.. now one does not have to use this board to talk to the dead. A person can draw letters on paper and use a penny for an oracle. Anyway, I just tried it as something to be "neat" and lo and behold, it worked like a charm. I would talk to all kinds of spirits ( I could do this alone btw). One was a child that had said that he had died and was looking for something, he would always say that he was standing next to me as I sat in the floor.

The serious nature of this story is this though...
I found a woman that had died, who said her name was "Tara". She said that she had died in the hospital the same night I was born in Houston. She could also recall certain events in my life that had happened that nobody else would know about as I was alone. She said that she had been "assigned" to be my guardian until it was my time to go. Many times she would tell me to get off the board immediately because there was a stronger spirit that would come onto the board and take over. Then it would just start to spell out swear words and vulgar stuff. The oracle would also quit moving smoothly and start getting very erratic. I now believe that it was all demonic, and possibly all the same demon. This is just one example of many that I have. Others include OBEs, and different things. I even used transcendental meditation once to stop my heart for several seconds.

Anyway here is a question that I have always wondered. We are called to test the spirits, which I did. I asked Tara if she loved Jesus and she said YES. So my question is this. Is it possible for a demon to praise the name of Jesus to a non believer? I was not saved at the time. MY thought is that is impossible for a demon to praise Jesus to a believer because he would be doing it directly to the Holy Spirit in us, and that would be impossible....

The devil is not above doing miracles for one to deceive many......

We're told to test the spirits in a very specific way, actually. 1 John 4:1-3 says that if a spirit is from God, it will say "Jesus Christ is come in the flesh," but if a spirit is not from God, it cannot say "Jesus Christ is come in the flesh." Be CERTAIN you only use the verse from the King James Version, though, because all other translations have it wrong. How do I know? Because demons try to trick you by saying, "Jesus Christ HAS come in the flesh," which is a perfectly true statement that doesn't confess that Jesus is still living and is the eternal king. But when you ask them to say, "Jesus Christ IS come in the flesh," they cannot say it. It's not possible. In those verses it says, "Test the spirits to see if they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." There are many false Jesuses. It's easy to praise the name of "Jesus." Jesus, in Hebrew, simply means Joshua. The key is professing His eternal lordship with the phrase Jesus Christ is come in the flesh.

I have to use this often when working with multiples, because there are lots of false Jesuses inside usually, and they must be destroyed (which is pretty easy unless the alter is hanging onto a false belief).

If a false Jesus won't die, it means that the alter has some false belief that's giving that false Jesus grounds to be in their spiritual space. I've had demons that I cast out come right back a few minutes later, because I'd make them tell me their names first. When they came back, I'd say, "You back again?" They'd say, "I still have grounds to be here."

Here's an excerpt from a book that tells the symptoms of continued bondage from once being involved in the occult. If you have just one or two symptoms, it could be coincidence or another problem...if you have lots of them, though, that's a different story. Have any of these symptoms:

∑ 1. Unforgiveness
∑ 2. Ignorance or Lack of Knowledge
∑ 3. No Relationship with God According to Knowledge
∑ 4. Personal and Family Sins
∑ 5. Not Having Faith in God
∑ 6. The need to See a Miracle
∑ 7. Looking for Signs and Wonders
∑ 8. Expect God to Heal on Oneís Own Terms
∑ 9. Looking to Man Rather Than God
∑ 10. Not Being Honest and Transparent
∑ 11. Flagrant Sin or Habitual Sin
∑ 12. Robbing God in Tithes and Offerings
∑ 13. Some Are Just Not Saved
∑ 14. Sin of Our Parents
∑ 15. Sometimes the Sickness is Unto Death
∑ 16. Our Allotted Time in Life is Fulfilled
∑ 17. Looking to Symptoms and Not to the Healer
∑ 18. Letting Dear Enter Your Heart
∑ 19. Failure to Get Away in Prayer and Fasting
∑ 20. Improper Care of the Body
∑ 21. Not Discerning the Lordís Body
∑ 22. Touching Godís Anointed Leaders
∑ 23. Immoderate Eating
∑ 24. Pure Unbelief
∑ 25. Failing to Keep Our Life Filled Up With God
∑ 26. Not Resisting the Enemy
∑ 27. Just Give Up
∑ 28. Looking for Repeated Healings Instead of Divine Health
∑ 29. Rejecting Healing in the Atonement as Part of the Covenant for Today
∑ 30. Trying to Bypass the Penalty of the Curse
∑ 31. Murmuring and Complaining
∑ 32. Hating and Not Obeying Instruction
∑ 33. Past & Continued Involvement with Occultism

If so, maybe I can help you out a bit. Do you have yahoo messenger? My Yahoo Messenger name is Cephyr13, or add me via e-mail: [email protected]. I'm on early in the morning around 6am usually for a few hours if I have no jobs for the day.

That's ok, we'll leave it at that. I doubt you have many. When you're saved, a lot of those fall off of you. And some are your choice to let go of or overcome. False doctrine sometimes is the cause of some of them being there. Other times it can be something that you weren't aware of that just needs to be gotten rid of spiritually. Totally depends... I'm no expert. I'm still in a learning phase on the details. I utilize the spiritual warfare with multiples as a necessity for helping them. But with non-multiples, I've only had one experience so far.

A girl I knew a couple of years ago that looked up to me like a big brother had something horrible happen to her and she blamed herself (self-hate). For two years she did pretty self-destructive things. Didn't understand why. She was 5'7", 87 lbs. I had just learned about casting out demons (I was 18, I think) and I knew this was demon oppression. She believed the lie that her boyfriend's death was her fault, yet she had nothing to do with his car wreck whatsoever. We combatted the lie first, and I assume she accepted the truth that it wasn't her fault. But that didn't change her situation. She was still anorexic and had urges to get drunk, smoke, do drugs and other destructive behaviors.

So, she wakes up one morning and says, "Wow, I feel great! I don't want to do anything self-destructive like drink, smoke, do drugs...nothing. I even feel like I've gained weight!" She checks and sure enough, she's gained 3 pounds over night. She goes to the computer and checks her e-mail. She finds a new e-mail from me, sent the night before. In it, I tell her that I would go to bed that night and pray out loud to cast out the demons, and she would be ok in the morning. She understood what happened at that point, and why she was feeling the way she did. Two weeks later she was back up to her normal weight with no excessive eating whatsoever. She weighed 127 pounds, so she gained 40 pounds in two weeks. Pretty amazing. Six months later her parents thanked me for giving them their daughter back, and I told them I had nothing to do with it, and that it was Jesus who did that. They said she was in college now and had found a really good Christian boyfriend and was in church again (hopefully a good church).

That's the only experience I have with non-multiples and spiritual warfare. I'm a bit of a noob in that department. But with multiples, I'm extremely good at it; not because I'm special, but because I ask the Holy Spirit to work through me because He's a genius at everything. He taught me well.

I hate those brain shocks and when the demon tries to force me to drive off the road, stay awake all night, force me into someone elses experience, and stands next to me 24 hours a day for years on end. Oh, and did I mention ringing in my ears?

It wasn't sorcery that caused my experience. It was a gift from God. I was wide awake, I peered outside my window and outside was this person. He wasn't in a way that I could speak to him, just look at him. And then he was gone. I was a 9 year old child. Children are special.

You joke, but multiples will have dark alters or demons come out and they'll run the car off the road or into oncoming traffic. This happened to a friend of mine, but luckily no one was hurt.

These experiences sound more to me like hallucinations, the human brain can be a tricky thing to understand, if one can ever really truly understand their own brain. Spiritual energy comes and goes, ebbs and flows all around us, but this doesn't necessarily mean that god has anything to do with it. The brain has a tendency to periodically play tricks on us, these things are normal.

Thus Spoke Zarathustra

This will help everyone out, check it.
It is time we acknowledged a basic feature of human discourse: when considering the truth of a proposition, one is either engaged in an honest appraisal of the evidence and logical arguments, or one is not. Religion is the one area of our lives where people imagine that some other standard of intellectual integrity applies.

I think everyone will agree that anything they experienced was not normal. I stated in the other thread I was on, this was an every night thing for a while, there was no trance involved when I was talking to spirits, nor was I ever a drug user or substance abuser... in fact, i would do it in the living room in the floor in the middle of the day while Seinfeld was on... no brain tricks here....

What do you mean? I am confused, it sounds like you are saying that "my brain played a trick on me" then you say the above, which sounds like you give credence to the "supernatural"... please clarify.

No offense, but if you haven't experienced it for yourself, you really can't know what caused it or how it works. I'm not pretending to know how that stuff works, necessarily. I explain it as best I can, but know that I have no idea if I'm correct or not.

I was in some serious trouble in my late teens and was court ordered to a halway house out of state...at the time I was not a Christian and was in a very bad place spiritually speaking. My family and friends prayed daily for me. One night my roommate at the "facility" woke and swears he saw a figure he described as a demon standing over me while i slept..now his description was not of a big wicked faced demon as the sterotype may be, but of a creature/form with wings and as I recall his staement, some human and animal features...I believe this was actually an Angel...the same God that can make creatures in the Bible with "wings like eagles, head of a lion ect"..can surely make an Angel with such features..and that this "thing" was infact watching over me

6 1/2 years on this board, and still a punk newbie..guess i should post more often

Good point. But what if it was what caused you to be in that bad state at the shelter and all? Maybe getting rid of it is what helped you to make it out ok. The world may never know.

If his family were truly praying, it WAS most likely an angel.....as that is what most people pray for when they pray protection around someone. If asked in Christ's name, they will come. They can appear however they want to.

Working with multiples, you see where demons will look like scary dog type creatures or even dragons and crazy stuff. It's all scare tactic type stuff.

This is a creepy thread to read in a house alone at 3:30 in the morning.

All I know is that, in my opinion, any sort of supernatural occurrence is demonic and I won't mess with that stuff.

Even reading this thread makes me feel all weird, like I'm inviting that into my life.

Spiritual energy? What are you talking about? Where are you getting this spiritual energy concept from?

Good story.
You talk about the multiple thing a lot. What do you do for a living? Youíre talking about "multiple personality disorders" right? How is it that you come about working with these disorders/demons?

That is what Brian is referring to, and it is nothing short of amazing to study it. I can't do it justice, so hopefully he will pop in here soon to address it.

The only thing ive ever had happen to me, which it could just be coincidence, was... I was having a hard time with life at the time and kind of depressed so I went to church one night. I had a good time, learned some stuff, prayed and then I left. As I was driving home I started couphing real bad. And I mean REAL BAD. And I kept couphing for about 30 minutes. And everytime I couphed some mucuse would come out here and there. It was as if I was couphing out some demons or something. I dont know I thought it was wierd though. It could have just been a coincidence even though I wasent sick or anything and quit couphing as soon as I got out of the car. Mabie ya'll would know something about it??????

By the way, if he's advocating a "spiritual energy" Jones, then he's admitting in his belief in the "spiritual world," because that's where "spiritual energy" would have to come from. Nice job!

Actually, what I do for a living and my work with multiples are two completely separate things. My work with multiples comes from years and years of working with people and using my gift of discernment. Not sure if it's a gift or if it's something all Christians should have by getting in tune with the Holy Spirit more... Who knows?

Ever since I was born again, I've had an uncanny ability to talk to someone for a matter of minutes and be able to understand them on a very deep level and know what's going on with them so that I can help them. I understand people really well and I am very good at helping people sort through problems to find the truth in the matter so they can overcome their issues. So I've always been very good with people. Thankfully, I didn't get a degree in psychology, because then I would be held to the rules of the industry and could lose my license if I broke those rules or if someone sewed because they didn't like my methods. Without a degree, you are free to do as you please. If I were go become a pastor, I could do the same and not be sewed, but I have no desire to become a pastor and take people's money, especially for something I enjoy doing free of charge. It's almost like a hobbie to me that a really enjoy. I love helping people.

A while back, I read a book about Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD) where the author starts out by showing quotes from medical journals that say the world of psychology at large claims that MPD is the least understood psychological problem, and they give multiples a 5 - 15 year lifespan from the time they start therapy. This is because the multiple will catch on to the fact that the therapist doesn't know what he/she is doing at some point and cannot help them, so they give up and kill themselves. This is pretty typical. They lose hope and commit suicide.

Then, the author shows how he stuided MPD with multiples for four years, and discovered what's really going on with them, and explained it completely. Once he gives you a working knowledge of how it works in the first seven chapters, he then spends the next seven chapters showing the actual chat log interactions between him and a multiple from the beginning to the end of the therapy three months later when the lady was completely cured.

He says that he had over 8,000 logged chat hours working with multiples online. He says that he was able to help over 100 multiples completely integrate into monominds (normal person again with no split personalities) in less than 3 years. Some took a few months to integrate, and others took nearly 3 years to integrate. Some of the best cases I've heard of are 20 years for someone to heal, and that is rare for that to happen even in 20 years. So, if someone has integrated 100 people in less than 3 years, then he's most likely figured out the actual cause of MPD and how to combat it properly.

I read the book a few times, straight through, and learned his methods. Then, I found multiples online in communities for abuse victims. I told them I knew about multiplicity and I'd be willing to help them if they'd like to my help. I'd add them to my yahoo messenger and start working with them. Over a short period of time, I would get their inside systems cleaned up (spiritual world they can see) by teaching them how to get rid of demons and how to find Jesus and how to pray for things and how to use the water of life. I'd also teach them how to cleanse alternate personalities in the water of life and get them to convert to Christ.

The only integrations that actually hold together without falling apart are the ones where all of the alters are Christians. Alters (alternate personalities) must be in agreement with one another, love and trust one another and be over most of their issues in order to integrate with each other. If there is conflict, then the integration won't happen or won't hold. When the alters are Chrisian, the integrations take a matter of minutes or days instead of weeks and months. And the integrations seat themselves quickly and properly. Also, if an alter is not a Christian, it's incredibly hard to get rid of baggage that's keeping them from integrating. Forgiveness and redemption and overcoming fear is much harder for these alters.

So, while working with multiples, I found that I could take it much further than the book The Shining Man with Hurt Hands took it. By that, I mean that I figured out a lot faster ways to clean up systems by praying different things that the author didn't think to pray for or try. If I were to tell you what I'd prayed for and what these multiples have seen inside, you'd think it were a fantasy land or a video game.

Quite amazing what Jesus will do in the spiritual world if you pray for it. Some of my chat logs are pretty bazaar. But they show proof that the multiples see things the second I pray for them, whether they know I prayed something or not. And they all see the same things in this inside world without being prompted or having preknowledge that they're supposed to see these things...and they see the water of life and how it effects dark alters, light alters, angels and demons and Jesus and false Jesuses without prompting or preknowledge as well. It's completely consistent across all multiples, and therefore, cannot be a conspiracy or coincidence. The book and my chat logs to back it up show that these people really are in the spiritual world. It's very strange... very interesting, though.

You should read that book. You can order it for $15 shipped or less at Amazon.com, or you can read it for free at:

Oh, and I've had a few therapists tell me that I've accomplished more in 2 months with their patients than they have accomplished in 2 years. I have some of those e-mails in my inbox somewhere I'm sure. I also have one therapist that emails me for advice before proceding on with interaction with their patient. I've just ended my work with multiples, though. I'm done. I love and enjoy it, but I know that I'm supposed to move on to something else, now. I wish I could teach classes or seminars here in the DFW area, though, for therapists who specialize or deal with MPD patients. That'd be the best way to get the best results and help multiples on a large scale. It would also be a great witness for Jesus, because the therapists would have exactly the same results as the book and I have had, which is seeing Jesus inside, and watching Him or the multiples, crush false gods and demons and false Jesuses. Very interesting stuff.

It was fun owning the Mother Earth spirit one day. hehehehe Twice, actually. Sounds funny, but I'm dead serious.

I would guess that's coincidence. The people that I know of that have demons cast out of them do one of two three things:

1. Vomit
2. Have a seizure
3. Absolutely nothing

Usually, when people have a demon cast out, they see a noticable change in thier life immediately, as long as they don't let them demon back in by doing the sin that let that demon in originally.

Never heard of someone coughing uncontrollably due to demonic problems. Now, if they have a sickness caused by a demon, then sure, I suppose they would could cough uncontrollably. I really couldn't tell you what happened to you that day, though, honestly. Who knows?
