Jesus Christ is homosexual

Guess what happens when you bend the rules laid out, well, why not bend them even further.

Robison is that opening gay bishop, that people said was ok.

Quote:
Robinson, who left his wife and mother of his two daughters to cohabit with his male lover, Mark, made his inflammatory remarks during an address titled, "Homosexuality and the Body of Christ: Is There a New Way?" at Christ Church of Hamilton and Wenham, Massachusetts. The bishop was asked by a congregant how Christians could both accept homosexuality and the Bible's emphasis on redemption for sins.

"Interestingly enough, in this day of traditional family values," answered Robinson, "this man that we follow was single, as far as we know, traveled with a bunch of men, had a disciple who was known as 'the one whom Jesus loved' and said my family is not my mother and father, my family is those who do the will of God. None of us likes those harsh words. That's who Jesus is, that's who he was at heart, in his earthly life.

"Those who would posit the nuclear family as the be all and end all of God's creation probably don't find that much in the gospels to support it," he concluded.

Sure, after all the Bible does say, "...there is no God".

I am surprise by no response, but that is the same response that Christian leaders are giving this news.

There is too much effort on being tolerant these days. Tolerance is the big word lately, but does it trump the word "truth".

This kind of thing is done to see how far people will allow stuff to go. Nothing can be done about it in this forum, but I certainly hope that local folks wolud rise up against something like that.

I am really saddened by this. I was shocked when he became a bishop, but honestly, I am not shocked by this statement. This is just another homosexual trying to justify his sexuality to heterosexual Christians. I do not accept this man as a bishop and I would be one to break away from this church because he is adamantly living against God, yet he is allowed to represent God in God's house of prayer. This is complete and total blasphemy, yet it is a sign of the times and things like this will happen more often until the Rapture. Once Jesus calls His church home, no one will want to be down here because this is just a taste of things to come.

According to Thomas Aquinas, there are two purposes for sex: 1.) procreation, 2.) strengthening the union of marriage, and 3.) pleasure.

Since procreation can't happen, gay sex is a sin against natural law. If his church allows gay marriage, it still does not satisfy any natural law as set by any diety, even if you happen to be a druid or something like that. If you can't procreate, it can't sustain the species so it cannot be an intent of God.

What if the whole world was gay?

I don't think all gays are going to hell, they should be welcome in a church, but their actions should not be sanctioned.

Churches are full of sinners and AA meeting are full of addicts. I've been to both.
