Make God Laugh

Tell him your plans. I'm glad God knows whats best for me and gives strength to deal with his plan for my life. Also be careful what you pray for you may just get it.

Which is why Jesus ended "the Lords' prayer" with "thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven". And in the garden he prayed, "nevertheless, not my will, but thine".

Yeah, it's good to use wisdom when you pray. I ask God to give me what I can handle. I don't want something if it will interfear with my relationship with God. Certain things can sneak up on you and cause you to stray away from God through a long period of time without you noticing it. It happend to me when I got married, bought a house, had a kid, ect. I just got so busy that I didn't make time for God. Life got stressful, but I am glad to say that I am back putting God first and the blessing are rolling my way since my faith is lifted back up, GLORY TO GOD!! "Seek first the kingdom of God and all things shall be added unto you."

A sermon a little while back was that God will give you what you pray for. I thinking alright big screen tv, big house with land, etc. Then the point was made when you pray and spend time with God your wants change therefore you will want the things that God has planned for you. This really made me look at things differently. btw congrats on getting your life back with god I have had similar experances and am trying to become more faithful again.
