Risk Mgmt/ Loss Prevention Analyst job

We just had a chick fired today from my dept. So there is a Loss Prevention Analyst position open. We do risk mgmt for one of the largest credit card processors in the country. I am fairly new there myself, so without offereing to just pass along "anyone"...feel free to PM me if interested in the position, or to ask questions.

Job is located in downtown FW in the old Tandy Center building and is M-F 8-5 and about one weekend every 5-6 weeks.

Nope, I am actually happy to report that even w/ as much access we have to all sorts of sensitive info (credit card numbers, SSN's) I haven't seen any kind internal loss yet.

I guess this isn't a field postion? My LP Auditor has some of the funniest damn stories I've ever heard. One of the more entertaining was a Store Manager offering up his girlfriend(who was present at the time)to him if he didn't fire him. He always says,"I had to really think about it for about 30 seconds..."

Haha, thats a good one Eric. No we don't have "stores" to audit, we have accounts. We are the back-end credit card processor for about 105K merchants across the country and we analyze credit card transactions from those merchants prior to paying them on the transaction to mitagate loss by our company, and to save the merchants from fraud.

There can be good days, like when I recently saved a small individually owned company about $12K from credit card fraud that he was about 24 hours away from taking a loss on....to bad days, like a month or so ago when I had the extreme pleasure (joking) of "no paying" a funeral service, because the merchant had accepted a credit card payment for almost double what we had approved him for and had no personal liquid assets and a plunging FICO score. Body was cold on the table and services were planned for the next day and I got to break the news that the $8K he just accepted was going to be reversed back to the cardholders CC.

We are still in need of two people. If you have any risk mgmt exp. or loss prevention exp. and are looking for a job in the FW area, let me know.
