UNT Graduate seeking employment.

I graduated this past May with a BS in Logistics/Supply Chain Mgmt. It appears to me that this degree was utter bullshit. I have submitted literally thousands of online applications, been to a handful of interviews, have been asked to return for second, third, even fourth interviews all to no avail. At this point I am getting very worried as I am seriously out of cash and have stretched all of my safety nets to their max (which weren't much to begin with). I can speak decent Spanish, have experience doing CAD work (Granted, it was in high school), love working with my hands, doing basic mechanical/electrical work. If anyone knows of ANY type of entry-level position paying more than $10/hr it would be GREATLY appreciated.

nothing to offer you sorry, but have you thought about delivering pies? Buddy did that in a pinch and always seemed to come home with >$100 cash each night for a few hours work.

I have seen several positions offered by L3 Communications, and Raytheon.
Check those sites out.

Talked to a recruiter last summer, they said you need a very high GPA to become an officer right away. They wanted me to enlist first then work my way to officer.. I said no thanks.

L3 is new to me, however I have applied several times to numerous positions with Raytheon with no success.

I'm not sure which part of SCM you are trying to get into, but material planning, purchasing, shipping and receiving, even customer service can all deal with aspects of SCM and lead to other things.

UPS Supply Chain Solutions was good to me when I first started. Been working for major manufacturers or 3PLs since.

don't you hate that! i find that any job that goes into a third interview has to many applicants and chances of getting the job are slim to none!
