Anyone work for cleaning/janitorial company??

A friend is looking at a job opening with a cleaning/janitorial company. He will be in sales and was trying to see what a competitive salary/comission would be in the DFW area. Thanks for your help.

I was a GM for a company out of michigan, handling mostly bank branches. PITA job. Sales might be a little better, but I would imagine it would be almost entirely commission based. It's fine if you land a big contract, but if its just a point or two on one or two buildings, it won't be enough.

What cleaning/janitorial company is he joining? I work on floor scurbbers and we used to sell alot of janitorial stuff back in the 80's and 90's but got away from it cause it was a hassle and everyone cares about the price and not the quailty. I've been working on floor scrubbers for about 12 years and my dad has been doing it since the 50's. So we know all the companies around the dfw area and I can tell you if they are a decent company plus if they do alot of business.
