did not think it would happen to me

got to work this morning to find out i was being laid off.worked there for 2 years as an account manager bringing in over 1m in new business and managing over 500,000 in established business.they said cash flow was the problem. oh well time to beat down some doors.

same thing happend to me, lost my job of 2 years also, same reasons

I heard basically the same song and dance about the Oil & Gas market and slow sales on Friday 9/11. I found it a bit ironic, a former US service member, being "laid off" on 9/11. My direct supervisor is pretty upset about the whole thing. Me not being there is putting a lot more load on him. I hope the bean counters understand the full impact of all their decisions.
