Performs exception counts & cycle counts communicates between departments to resolve inventory discrepancies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – Include all the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Priority- Resolve issues that are effecting the customer base as quickly as possible- Respond to Marketing Associates Opportunities within a 24 hour time frame.
Recalls- place whole inventory (population) on “Hold”, then check inventory population for specifics & address accordingly.
Truck-Shorts- Check transportation desk hourly for slots that need to be physically counted from drivers calling in their truck shorts.
All 15-case or greater adjustments need to be researched prior to adjustment –having back-up documentation for support.
Cycle Count information needs to be given to warehouse supervision ( day & nights) to note opportunities that were found and need to be followed up by warehouse supervision with selectors, receivers, returns put away, fork drivers, etc.
Count and Review counts- Warehouse outs need to be given to operations, so the warehouse will know where we are counting and aisles that we may need assistance on in the Cooler, Dry and Freezer.
Error Tracking information that you document needs to be given to warehouse supervision to note opportunities that are found and need to be followed up by warehouse supervision with selectors, receivers, returns put away fork drivers, etc.
A/P- Check box for packages (purchase orders) that need quantity or weight corrections.
Check system parameters at the item level for perishable items (Spoilage issues) that you believe need to have manufactured or expiration shelf life set- get with a merchandiser for verification of shelf life and set parameters if product does not already have the set.
Reconcile Red zone so product can be put back in stock.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
1 year relevant experience and skills, basic computer knowledge, be able to navigate through Microsoft Outlook.
Ability to read, write, and speak English. Bi-lingual a plus.
Strong math skills needed to count product, multiply, add, subtract and understand percentages.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions on this job: walking, bending, squatting, stretching, reaching, and moderate lifting 0 to 80 lbs as needed.
Will enter dry, cooler and freezer throughout the day as needed.
