Looking for IT Work

Looking for an IT job, maybe Help desk/desktop support, temp, perm, don't care as long as I'm working normal week day hours. Can't do weekends or 3rd shift stuff.
7 years desktop support experience in a Windows environment. No linux or Mac experience though.

Hollywood shoot me a PM if you're still looking.

Over five thousand years ago, Moses said to the children of Israel, "Pick up your shovel, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised Land." Nearly 75 years ago, Roosevelt said,"Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a camel, this is the Promised Land." Now Obama has stolen your shovel..., taxed your asses, raised the price of camels and mortgaged the Promised Land!

We have 5-6 HD accounts at my location, let me check around and see if any are short-staffed.

If there's more than one, I'd be interested in learning more about it.

Are you capable of handling any and all IT needs of a small business as the sole IT person? Networking, and all the rest of it?

It'd be a 8-5 for the most part. Only have to work after hours if you have to take the servers down to fix something. Because that obviously can't be done during business hours.

Hard to say. I'd say intermediate. I've had to do plenty of low level network stuff. WAN i'm very weak in though. And, see below.

I could probably handle that, but i'm basically out of here in 6 months so that would be just a bad move ethically on my part. I'm looking for something with less responsibility so I can be easily replaced when it comes time to give notice.

My department has IT work in Chicago. We have about 5 people in our department there.. Only issue I see is... What kind of IT job are you going to have and say you Can Not be on-call.. I thought that was like one of the "must-have" things.
