Walgreens anyone?

My wife and I are looking to relocate, and among the places we are interested in include the DFW area...but if not it's probably going to be the future center of the US economy, Bentonville Arkansas We are currently in Amarillo.

I am an assistant manager @ Walgreens, anybody in the DFW area got a hookup for me?

My corporate contact for Wal*Mart is in Bentonville.

They once told me they have blissful daydreams where they are transported to somewhere more attractive, like Newark.

hey Chris

yeah it actually is growing like crazy over there. WalMart is making that place blow up, and there should be a lot of jobs available there for us (both BBA business management and marketing).

I wouldn't be surprised if they moved up out of there sometime though since Walton is dead.

NW Arkansas isn't a bad place to live! crime is reasonable low (your car will not get stolen!) and jobs are plentiful if you can find a good paying job.

traffic is crap because its over populated for such small towns as Fayetteville, Springdale, Lowell, Rogers, and Bentonville...

Wal-Mart home office sucks! it's a sea of cubicles and a bunch of slaved out robots!!

Also Wal-Mart will never move!! There pockets are too deep and can get away with anything in Arkansas.

Yea we were up there for vacation at Table Rock lake last year & stopped in Bentonville & it was busy. Truth be known I would love to live around there because it sure beats the hell out of this flat ass nothing to do shit we have here.

What smell is it that you hate? The old lady smell?

Oh, I have already been to school, but it was for business management/marketing. I am thinking about pharmacy school because they make in 3 hours what I make all day

pharmacies just have that unique smell that you ONLY smell in pharmacies

only way I could work in one is if I were an actual pharmacist. they make some grip!

Have you tried the Walgreens Distribution Center in Waxahachie? Waxahachie is about 20 mins South of Dallas and is a GREAT place to live. I've been here about 6 years and absolutley Love it.

That's a thought.

Everybody at my store hates the Waxahachie Distribution guys because they pack our stuff like a bunch of 2nd graders and about 15% of the stuff they send us ends up busted

That is an idea though My wife has some family in Waxahachie and when we visited them it did seem really nice.

Ya they have a huge banner on the side of their building (I drive by there daily).
The intersection of 77 and 287 in the afternoons sucks balls.
