Help Desk Position - Entry Level

Posting this again, last two people did not work out.

This is an ideal starting point for a student, or recently graduated person, to get some solid industry related experience.

Help Desk position, medium sized insurance company in Grand Prairie, duties will include all basic help desk aspects (hardware and software support for Win 9x, 2000 and XP desktops, training end users on new software, basic networking, etc), some basic network admin duties (new user account setups, account lockout resolution, etc) and some Operations duties (large print jobs, cash/checkposting, reports, tape backups, etc).

You'll need solid hardware/software skills, a good attitude, and a strong desire to come to work everyday and learn new skills. You'll get good starting pay and benefits, and a relaxed, casual work environment.

If you're interested in learning more about this position, check out the website - http://www.nhic.com/the_company/employment.asp and then contact me directly at [email protected]

Do you still have my resume?

PS, can you elaborate on "good starting pay"

I do still have it George. The pay scale tops out at $17/hr on this one, so it would be quite a bit less than you are worth, imo. That's why I listed it as entry level.

What if you have no IT experience, but somewhat know about computers, and are a fast learner?

SonicBlueGT03,
I am sure my brother would be interested in this; I will forward him a link. If i remember correctly he has a double associate’s degree in Computer Science and Network Admin and I know for a fact he is looking for an entry level position where he can learn.

Position is most likely filled, just waiting for paperwork to clear now. I may be posting another position in the near future though, as it looks like we are getting ready for a large increase in business. As always, I'll post it here first.

Is this the large office building on north 360 near Green Oaks blvd? I used to deliver office supplies to them. They had some hotties working there.
